Rafael Rigoni, from
Trimble, and Danilo Vilela, from
TotalCAD, are TI Lab's guests for an unprecedented demonstration on how to use
SketchUp and
Trimble Mixed Reality to view your models in Mixed and Augmented Virtual Reality with
Microsoft HoloLens. The event will take place on Monday, February 19, 2018, at 2 PM, at TI Lab itself.
Coordinate your project with HoloLens!
With this solution, you can walk through your project wearing the
HoloLens headset. Using mixed virtual reality, the technology overlays the real physical context with 3D models and provides precise alignment of holographic data at the project site. This makes it possible to coordinate and review projects right at the construction site.
HoloLens is a bit different from most virtual reality headsets available on the market today; it isn't tethered to a computer by cables, nor does it need a smartphone inside it to work. The device is completely standalone and connects to a computer via Wi-Fi. This allows the user to move freely around the environment.
The service relies on data hosting in Trimble's cloud, so users can work together in real time. We have a post that explains how the process works between modeling in SketchUp Pro and Trimble's platform. Click
here to access the post and learn more about the subject.
Participation in this webinar is free, and you can attend online or in person.
To attend online, TI Lab will livestream on
Facebook and also via GoToMeeting. The latter has limited spots: to register, click
here.
To attend in person, spots are also limited. You need to register
at this link.
TI Lab is located at Rua Cláudio Soares, 72, Pinheiros, São Paulo. It is very close to the Faria Lima Metro Station (Yellow Line 4). There is also on-site parking and bicycle parking.
