VisualARQ Webinar – the flexible BIM for Rhinoceros

Architect Affonso Orciuoli is João Gaspar's guest for an interview on the subject of VisualARQ. VisualARQ is an architecture plug-in fully integrated with Rhinoceros, adding architectural features and components (walls, stairs, windows, etc.) that are treated as parametric objects. The program combines architectural modeling with the “freeform” modeling characteristic of Rhino. It can generate all 2D documentation (floor plans, sections, elevations, details) at the scale desired by the designer. The 2D views are referenced to the 3D model, leaving the designer free to dedicate their time to creation. Affonso Orciuoli is an architect licensed by the Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo – Universidade Mackenzie, with a Master's degree from the Escola Técnica Superior d'Arquitectura de Barcelona (1999) – Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and is a PhD candidate at the Escola Tècnica Superior d'Arquitectura – Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.
