Curtain wall types

Curtain Wall (Curtain Wall 1): Initially has no mullions or curtain grid lines, and therefore has no predefined rules, allowing for greater flexibility;

Exterior Glazing (Exterior Glazing): Has predefined curtain grid lines, but the values can be changed; Storefront (Storefront): Has curtain grid lines and mullions, but the position can be edited.

In the Modify|Place Wall (Modify|Place Wall) tab, choose the type of geometry you will use to draw the curtain wall in plan.

Done! Now just practice the step-by-step to lock in the knowledge, but before you go, take a moment to check out our article on selection filter. Don't know what that is?! When you're putting this new tip into practice, you'll probably want to select all the mullions of the curtain wall to modify them; what do you do? Select everything and then deselect the glass faces, or select mullion by mullion? The best answer would be: neither! That's right, it's possible to make this selection in a much simpler way, in the blink of an eye! We explain all of this in this article, content that, just like this post, is part of the book Revit step by step - volume I, whose content quality you can check out by downloading a free sample here!
