The First Meeting – Part III - Panels and Technical Sessions

The image at the top of this post shows the venue where the breaks between talks, technical sessions, panels, and posters at ENTAC 2014 took place. Of course it was great to be there, a nice spot to unwind, facing the pool and the sea. But, at the same time, it was a bit cruel too, hehehe. Anyway, let's get to the point. Now I intend to highlight the technical sessions and panels that caught my attention during ENTAC 2014. Of course, as I wrote in the first post in this series, there must have been several equally interesting sessions and panels, given how extensive the event was. So, I recommend that anyone interested in researching the papers behind the panels use the ENTAC 2014 paper search tool, because it works really well! Not all the papers I mention here deal specifically with BIM, but all of them have an intrinsic relationship with BIM, lean construction, and design process management. I could go on writing an introduction and analysis for each one of them (and I probably will, over time), but I think that, for anyone interested in BIM, it would be worthwhile to read all the papers in full, so why would I comment on papers that, in my opinion, need to be read in their entirety? So, let's get to it. In the next post in this series about ENTAC, I plan to present some statistical data about the accepted papers, technical sessions, and panels. I'm still working on it and it might take a while. Until then, I'll keep posting about other BIM topics I'm researching.
