Live: CAU Debate BIM

The Temporary BIM Committee of CAU/SP (CTBIM-CAU/SP) held, on October 27, 2021, a free live stream with the goal of discussing, together with architects and urban planners, the following topics:
- What is BIM (Building Information Modeling)?
- What government initiatives exist regarding BIM?
- Where can architects and urban planners use BIM?
- How do we deliver it? Let's look at the decree!
- How can architects and urban planners prepare to use BIM and provide services related to their scope of practice (duties and activities)?
These were the questions set for the debate, based on the decrees related to BIM and on the council's own legislation. During the event, committee members answered questions and comments that came up in the chat. Among the topics that generated the most discussion, one that stood out was the use of free, open-source software, which can be used to carry out projects and audit BIM models.
