Meet João Gaspar at Trimble Dimensions 2026: five sessions in Las Vegas

Heading to Trimble Dimensions 2026? João Gaspar, COO of EBBIM and CIO of totalCAD, will present five sessions at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, November 9–11. The program covers SketchUp, BIM data, IFC workflows and applications built with the Trimble Connect API.

S-1234 — Automated 2D-to-BIM Workflow: Transforming DWG Plans to Precise SketchUp Models

This case study presents a tool developed for an architecture firm to convert 2D DWG apartment plans into SketchUp Pro models. The workflow creates slabs, walls, doors and windows, uses a library of openings and classifies components in IFC.
